You are welcome to Walk With Us on up to three walks before you need to become a member of The Ramblers.
You can select which walk you would like to join from the list opposite. Clicking once on a walk name will open more walk information, a second click will hide the information.
If you are a new walker you may wish to make your selection by walk length. We designate our walks using one of five letters: X, A, B, C or D where X is the longest and D the shortest. An explanation of these codes can be found <here> .A proportion of the walks give their length in miles. .
The walk list contains brief details of each walk together with the contact name(s) and telephone number(s) of the walk leader(s). If you want more information about any particular walk just give the walk leader a call.
If you wish to tell the walk leader you will be joining a walk then you are most welcome to do so, but there is no need to notify anyone. You should simply turn up at the published place and time
Our meeting places are given codes (mp1) to (mp5) – an explanation of this code can be found <here> . The meeting time is the departure time so we suggest you aim to arrive a little before that. When you arrive you may wish to introduce yourself to the walk leader as a guest walker.
Before you Walk With Us for the first time we recommend that you read the Walks Information page. This provides advice and important information about our walks, and travel and other arrangements for the day itself. The online page can be found <here>.
If you wish to continue to Walk With Us after three walks it will be necessary for you to join The Ramblers. You would be joining the national organisation and although you might specify Rugby as your local group you would be entitled to walk with any group.
